Introduction: Cherrybeth I. Corbo
I am Cherrybeth Corbo, the Academic Supervisor of SMEAG Education Inc. Campus 1- Sparta. I have been working with SMEAG for eight (8) years now. Majority of my task is to supervise the Academic Department. The how’s and why’s of the Academic System, services rendered to students, take care of our teachers’ welfare and of the academic staff as well. I take charge of Students and teachers schedule. In coordination with the R&D Team, as far as, the assessment of students, test progress and academic reports which will be explained later. I also take care of the employment of teachers, application, evaluation and continuity of service. Overall, I make sure the rules and regulations set for Students and Teachers will have to be implemented and observed.

【週間テスト】

ESLコース・各種テスト対策コースの学生とも毎週（土）に模擬テスト（レベル判定テスト）を受験していただきます。初日のレベル判定後、毎週ごと自分の成長が各スキル（L/R/W/S）ごと点数になって結果をもらえるので、自分の苦手分野を把握でき、更に、担当SAが客観的視点で学習のアドバイスをくれます。 今後の学習計画へ役立ちます。
日々の学習の大きなモチベーションにもなります。

授業・講師変更の手続き、申請方法など

2週間に一度、講師の変更希望を提出することができます。（ただしワーニングを持っている学生は更に2週間変更禁止になっています。）



まずは自分の担当SAに相談して、講師変更の用紙（PERMISSION SLIP）をもらいます。そこに変更前講師と担当SAからサインを貰い、もし希望の講師がいれば、第3希望まで記入します。最後に講師を変えたい理由を記入します。それをアカデミックオフィスに木曜の18時まで提出します。翌週から、講師が変更になります。

講師によって得意科目や教えるスタイルが違うので、自分の担当SAやスーパーバイザーに相談すると、自分にあった講師を紹介してくれます。

追加マンツーマン授業

もし、もっと追加で授業を受けたい場合、どのコースの学生も、一週間P1750で追加マンツーマン授業を自分の時間割の中に追加することができます。一ヶ月はP7000です。申込期間は問いません。受講したい講師ととスケジュールが合えば、講師の指定もして頂くことが可能です。

このようにSMEAGでは自分の学習スタイルに合うように授業・先生のカスタマイズができます。

学業に関する規定、ペナルティー（欠席、遅刻、課題提出の規定など）

授業は5分以内に教室内に入ることがルールです。週間テストは1分でも過ぎたら欠席扱いとなります。
授業・週間テストの欠席の回数に応じて、ワーニングがつけられ、ワーニングの数によりペナルティが与えられます。（講師変更不可・スパルタキャンパスの場合外出禁止にもなります。）
正当な理由があり事前にオフィスにてマネージャーの許可を得られた場合、公欠扱いとなります。
病欠は医師の診断書がある場合のみ認められます。
