神戸市北区の新名神高速道路の建設現場で４月、橋桁が落下し、作業員１０人が死傷した事故で、西日本高速道路が設けた技術検討委員会は１９日、東側で橋桁をつっていた門型クレーンの支柱の傾きが原因だったと発表した。東側の地盤が軟弱だったが、事前の調査が不十分で、土台が不均等に沈下したことで橋桁のバランスが崩れたという。
